Hott new Dance CD

Dance Music is alive and well. Many new fresh beats have been released that are sure to keep your heart pounding and your feet banging to the beat. With fewer radio stations dedicated to the sounds of new dance music, many of these releases don't get their fair share of air time. Sirus Radio is stepping up and just released a hot new CD featuring 15 of these songs. "The Beat" packs in the hott sounds of summer 2005. These are the biggest dance mixes that can be herad on Satalite radio.
If your not getting your daily dose of new tunes....here is the cure.
This dance mix kicks off with the newest release by Reina entitled "Forgive".
DHT has a remake of the hit, "Listen To Your Heart". A few of  the biggest hits on WKTU are Kim Sozzi "Stay,"  "Put Em High" by Stonebridge, "One Word" by Kelly Osbourne and a personal favorite "Free Me" by Emma Bunton. The music is uplifting with an average pace of about 135 beats per minute. Each songs is carefully mixed for continous non stop dance action. Released nationally, "The Beat" , can be found locally or call or write  the Music Factory in Sewell, NJ (856) 589-5009 email them at

Discoamerica - Highlights & Results

Dancers from all over the country descended on Atlantic City, New Jersey for the 7th annual Discoamerica Championships. One of the longest running hustle dance events, this years convention marked the first time an event of this kind danced into America's playground. One of the most visited cities in the country, AC has so much to offer. The Sheraton Hotel was the setting for this years competition. Best known as the home of the Miss America Pageant, the hotel displays many of the artifacts  and memorabilia from the pageants birth to today. The setting couldn't have been better. Organizer Donna Boyle, along with her DJs and teaching staff kept the event in a nonstop dance mode all weekend long.
This years event revealed the increased level of competitors in the amateur ranks. Entries have grown as the skill level among the amateurs continues to wow the audience. Whether you won a dance contest, hit at one of the casino's or took in a show....everyone was a winner. This years diner show was choreographed by Artie Philips as he displayed his interpretation of the Discoamerica Beauty Pageant with a few twists of his own. In addition to the staff...many pros were on hand:
Joyce Szilli, Luis & Mary Rosa, Chuck Fetta, Laura Cozik, Lori Brizzi, Steven Mitchell, DJ Mark, Nelli Cotta, DJ Nino Torre, Paul Pelicora, Lisa Daniels, Kenny Gonzalez....
Hats off to Donna for keeping disco alive in Atlantic City and the burbs.
Congratulations to all the competitors.

  Letters to the Editor
(send all letters to Rowenlb22@aol.com)

Hi Ron,
Just wanted to let you know that my dad is recovering very well. He is looking good, has gotten his appetite back - is very clear and getting stronger every day.  With all my heart, thank the well-wishers from all over the world on behalf of my dad and my family, who took the time to call us and to write to him - both emails and cards - and who kept him in their thoughts and prayers.  I made a nice book and have read each and every email and card to him and I swear this has helped him keep up good spirits; and had definitely made his recovery that much smoother.  So much love was and is still being sent to him - I just cannot express how grateful we are.
Eileen Montana - on behald of Vince Montana Jr.

 Dear Ron,
I wanted to convey my sincere thanks to you and all the dancers who have come out to Michael's Cafe the past few weeks. I greatly appreciate their support and willingness to help. I hope everyone's support and generosity will encourage management to allow our Tuesday Night Hustle Dance Party to continue for a long, long time. I also wanted to convey a special thank you to the professional instructors and advanced dancers who offered their time and efforts for the Pro Mixer hour this past Tuesday.  Again, my sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone for their support. They are the best, not only as dancers, but as caring, generous and kind hearted people.
