We send our condolences to Kathy Austin and her family.
Her father, Clarence "Ed" Jones, passed away on September 11th. A
funeral mass will be held at 11:30 AM Wed., at Assumption BVM Church,
Bristol Rd, & Meadowbrook Rd., Feasterville, where the family
will receive friends from 10:30 AM until the time of the Mass. In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Assumption BVM Church, 1900
Meadowbrook Road, Feasterville, PA 19053.
Five years ago the God Father
of Soul passed away. Barry White made the women swoon. He
was also a producer and the director of the Love Unlimited
Orchestra. The LUO performed some of the greatest dance classics of the
Disco era.
We are excited to report that DJ Bobby Gerald has
great news. His medical reports came back, he is cancer free. He will be on
staff at the World Hustle Dance Championships, October 8-11th.
The new "Summer Mix" has it all. All the new dance songs

World dance champions Billy Fajardo & Katie
Marlow are on their way to Italy. They will be performing and
teaching group classes in five major cities through out the

- Philadelphia Salsafest -
Complete Info - Go to the main page - Main Page- Save as a Favorite The Forum The first open forum to discuss the growth of the hustle will be held
on October 8th, at the World Hustle Dance Championships. This initiative was the
culmination of letters posted on both the HustleLounge web site
and DanceTalk. Subsequently, many readers recommended a meeting to
share common concerns.
In efforts to energize, encourage and recruit the next generation of
dancers we are searching for creative suggestions to help keep the hustle
dance thriving. To help facilitate the conference, we have assembled a
panel of 8 knowledgeable dancers, teachers and/or promoters. They will
be fielding questions from a live audience. We encourage everyone to come
out to share their views and constructive suggestions. This proactive forum will
be moderated by Asia Bautista (Rhythmlounge.tv.) and Ron Bess (DanceTalk). You
may forward letters, in advance, to be read at the open forum or simply
attend.
This is your forum, where you get to vocalize your thoughts and help
influence the direction of the hustle for future dancers. Everyone is
invited. We have many dancers that are passionate about the hustle and
anxious to accelerate the growth process - to conserve the dance for generations
to come. Please come out and join our brainstorming session to support and
help preserve our beloved dance. Whether you agree or not, you have the
