Patrick Swayze, a trained dancer
and actor is
fighting pancreatic cancer, one of the most painful and deadly
disease's. Best known for his role in "Dirty Dancing" he also performs
with his wife/ballerina for 32
years.

Studio Hustle night on March 28th. Performances and hustle
music with DJ Bobby Morales.
The motion picture Love N' Dancing is a wrap. Look
for a national release this summer. Swing Dance Champion, Robert

Event Director Glen Miller invites you to his annual Swing Dance
America in Milwaukee. Swing and hustle into spring with one of
America's greatest dance events starting Thursday, April 24, to Sunday,
April 27th. This popular event is being held at the elegant Hilton -
Milwaukee, City Center. This is a weekend of excitement.
West Coast Swing and Hustle competitions with two ballrooms - one for
WCS and the other for Hustle. You don't want to miss the Saturday night
Gala Entertainment show. The event hosts 10 competitive divisions in
dance, (Classic "A" and "B"), there are over 20 Great Workshops
(included with weekend pass), inter-Club Competition, the "Traveling
Trophy" awarded to the Club, Group, Team, Region, or State, that has
the most points at the end of the Event. This year, there will be a
separate trophy for the group with the most points in Hustle, also, one
for the group with the most points in West Coast Swing, and separate
trophies for groups with the most overall points. But we are not done,
there is the Dancing With The Stars Auction, a Master's Tour Event,
AANCE Tour Event, plus on Thursday, April 24th there are Two (2) Early
Bird Workshops plus Early Bird Dance after the Workshops. No need to
run out there is a Friday night Pizza Party (included with Weekend
Pass) and the ever popular Saturday night Midnight Breakfast Buffet
(included with Weekend Pass). Now, lets talk about the Hotel.
Ready for this? They have a huge indoor water park, thats right, inside
the Hilton Hotel. This is an elegant Five Star Hotel and only $99 per
night. The hotel offers Five (5) Excellent restaurants inside including
Miller Pub, and Milwaukee Chop House for fine dining. The Hilton hotel
is located in downtown Milwaukee, just 10 minutes from
Milwaukee International Airport. Airport Shuttles
are available or just take a short cab ride. There is a 10% Swing Dance

Mad Jam - Results and overview
Over 1400 dancers filled one of the largest hotel ballrooms in the DC
Metro area last week. The energy was amazing! Sheraton
Premiere¤™s 400+ guest rooms were entirely taken
over by dancers from every corner of the US and Canada.
The hotel sold out months in advance of the weekend. The adjacent hotel
was also at capacity with the overflow. There were more than 900
contest entries, 39 routine performances, 517 Jack & Jill
contest entries, 186 pro/am couples, 700 breakfast buffets were served
Saturday night. The current world¤™s WCS, Hustle
& Hand Dance champions were all there. An amazing 45 hours of
workshops were presented by 54 national champions. Over 3500 hours of
workshops were attended. You can purchase for $75 the DVD -
includes all the routines and spotlight finals for J&J
& Strictly contests & a video notebook of all
